About NARRP
The National Association of Recreation Resource Planners (NARRP) is a professional planning association dedicated to providing the public opportunities for the enjoyment and benefits of quality outdoor recreation, in balance with natural, cultural, historic, and scenic resource protection. NARRP provides its members with the opportunity to reach out to recreation resource stewards nationwide in order to advance professional educational development, interagency networking, information and technology exchange, and nurture working relationships and long-term friendships.
The Objectives of the Association are to:
- Provide a professional support network for recreation resource planners across the nation.
- Serve as a conduit for information and technology transfer.
- Advance educational and professional development.
- Promote scholarship and advancement for students and young professionals.
