Professional Networking — NARRP gives you the opportunity to meet other professionals in your state and region, and from across the nation through our membership directory, website, interactions with the Board of Directors, and our annual national conference. Members can join NARRP’s group pages on Facebook and LinkedIn, which allows members to proudly display their NARRP affiliation with visitors to their personal profile.
Professional Recognition and Awards — Great people are doing great things in the profession. NARRP recognizes outstanding professional accomplishments with a series of awards delivered at the annual conference.
Student Scholarships — We believe our students are our future; therefore, NARRP cultivates tomorrow’s leaders with a scholarship program for students. This unique program allows them to attend our conference and cultivate relationships with today’s leaders.
News from NARRP — Our profession is changing fast. To keep us abreast of these changes our members stay connected through our regular emails to the membership. News from NARRP is published on an as needed basis, usually 2-3 times per month, and features job announcements, news clippings, training notices, news from members, new planning resources, articles from members, and reports on board business. This content is generated by members, for members. Please send us your news that may be of interest to other members.
Directory of Planning Resources — Keeping up to date on new recreation planning tools, concepts, processes, handbooks, and policies is difficult. NARRP is uniquely qualified to provide its members with the most complete directory of recreation planning information in the nation.
Need Help? — Looking for new ways to face your organization’s challenges? NARRP allows you to find support and ideas from experienced colleagues. Send your questions to brenda@narrp.org and we’ll send them out to the membership.
Annual National Conference — Our annual three-day meeting combines intensive educational sessions with enjoyable outdoor activities at some of the country's most diverse outdoor recreation venues. You’ll meet colleagues, make friends, and return to your office refreshed and eager to implement new techniques, ideas, and programs. In 2010, NARRP will host our 30th annual event in Portland, Oregon.

Membership Fees
NARRP is a unique national organization that seeks to improve the profession of recreation resource planning. NARRP offers its members a variety of benefits and services.
Institutional memberships are for agencies, businesses, and organizations who desire to sponsor more than one individual.
- If you join online, you will be given a promotional code that is used to register each additional member at the reduced rate of $70 each. Each member is billed separately. Additional members can be added at any time during the membership year with the promotional code. At renewal time, each member will receive an expiration notice. The first person renewing will pay $75 and get the promotional code for the others to renew at $70.
- If you wish to pay with one payment (check or credit card), please download the membership form, complete and postal mail with your payment.
The membership year will start the date that dues are paid and will be active for 12 months.

NARRP is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. All membership dues are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Contributions to NARRP, separate from or above the membership dues, are 100% tax deductible.
